I drive from Stockton to get my car serviced at Elk Grove Mazda. I’m always treated extremely well by your pleasant staff and enjoy the time I spend waiting for my car in your well appointed waiting area. I like the video explaining what is going on with my car. Someone dinged my car when I was in a parking lot getting groceries. I talked to Briana about it and she recommended Elk Grove Custom Collision. I stopped by there after my car was finished being serviced and received some excellent insurance advice and an estimate for repairs. I recently lost my husband after being together nearly 60 years. He always handled car and insurance matters, so buying a car at Elk Grove Mazda and handling things like getting a car serviced and even filing insurance claims are all new for me. I took my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, which I do every 5000 miles and the representative in the service department tried to sell me tires at least three or four times between him the other Rep), the Service Tech and his manager there is plenty of tread on the tires about a quarter inch over the round replacement mark on the tire, buy three get one for a dollar, didn’t matter I didn’t need new tires. I went to another dealership and they said I was fine, but what upset me was the front trim piece was loose and falling off under the car, I asked them to fix it or put a screw in it or something but that never got done. Never got repaired. I never got a quote to fix it. Nothing.

The repair work itself appears to have been handled appropriately, and Danny was excellent when I picked up my vehicle. He has always been great to work with and is usually my service advisor. My frustration was with the communication process while the vehicle was being serviced. I received updates about the repair and a service video, but I never received a clear notification that my vehicle was completed and ready for pickup. Because of that, I had to reach out myself for clarification. Better communication regarding vehicle status and completion would have made the experience much smoother.
